The Koopa mobile hardness tester... quick and easy hardness testing.

Koopa Mobile Hardness Tester is compact and has advanced functions, high accuracy and repeatability. It is a fast tester, which can perform three tests per second. Due to its lightweight and its flexibility it seems that it is as necessary as a mobile phone. The Koopa Mobile Hardness tester is small and easy-to-use yet contains advanced technology for precision testing in any direction - up, down or sideways. It can test all metals, outputting a wide range of results in Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell and Shore values.

Typical applications:
  • Testing in a production line e.g.crank-shafts,cylinder blocks,etc.
  • In-site testing of individual parts,or components in assembled machines
  • Heavy components e.g.rolls for rolling mills, etc.
  • Mould surface of a die
  • Material identification of sorting
  • Testing in difficult-to-access areas, can be used in any directions
The following table shows hardness scales and type of materials, which could be set:

Features:
  • Compact size, lightweight
  • Automatic mean value display, in addition to standard deviation, min and max, number of readings
  • Automatic conversion to Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers, Shore and Tensile Strength
  • Uses rechargeable batteries
  • With LCD readout
  • Parts can be checked at any angle
  • High accuracy
  • Automatic shut off
  • Very easy to use
  • Furnished in handsome, rugged carry case with calibrated test block and manual
  • Power-packed at a very affordable price
Unique Advantages:
  • It would be automatically charged after each test.
  • The impact energy is constant in all directions.
  • The test can be performed single-handed.
  • Built-in impact device with a tungsten carbide tip.The life of Impactor is much longer because of one-piece construction and not using of magnet.
  • The measuring cycle is much faster than the similar ones (three test per second).
  • The accuracy of tester is not affected by surrounded magnetic fields.
  • Sensitivity of impact device with respect to perpendicularity and ups and downs of the test piece is much less than the similar ones.

Description:

The koopa Mobile hardness tester is the easiest, fastest and the most accurate hardness tester which uses the Leeb rebound method for measurement whereby an impact body is impelled against a surface. Its velocity is measured prior to and after rebounding from the test material with a harder material resulting in a higher rebound velocity. The rebound method is precise and offers high reliability.
There is no need to charge the impact device manually, you simply push a botton on probe and the impactor is activated with a constant energy (by an electromanetic field, in contrast with custom probe which is activated by spring). Therefore the impact device is small and as fast as three test per second and you can work with one hand.
The mechanical impact device and electronic display ar contained in one compact package, no cable to worry about. You can test where access is limited and in any direction without affecting the accuracy of the measurement. It is ideal for use on internal surfaces of castings, fabricated assemblies and on large cumbersome samples.
The tester features a built-in impact device with a tungsten carbide tip and can handle a wide range of materials. Whether it's a course-grained forging or cast part, the instrument will give you the reliable results you need. It's versatile, handy and fast.
