The Koopa portable hardness tester... quick and easy hardness
testing.
Koopa portable hardness tester is the fastest hardness tester
which ever designed. It is capable of three tests per
second. Its unique design, precision, speed and flexibility
in choosing hardness scales and type of materials, make it
suitable for testing of almost all metals in industry. Two
models of impact devices with three energy are available.

|
Unique Advantages:
|
-
It would be automatically charged after each test.
-
The impact energy is constant in all directions.
-
The test can be performed single-handed.
-
The life of Impactor is much longer because of one-piece
construction and not using of magnet.
-
The measuring cycle is much faster than the similar ones
(three test per second).
-
Koopa hardness tester generates two impact energies with
one probe. The less energy is used for finished surfaces
and the more energy for relatively rough solids and raw
materials.
-
The accuracy of tester is not affected by surrounded
magnetic fields.
-
Sensitivity of impact device with respect to
perpendicularity and ups and downs of the test piece is
much less than the similar ones.

Description:
|
|
The koopa portable hardness tester is the easiest, fastest and
the most accurate hardness tester.
There is no need to charge the impact device manually, you
simply push a button on probe and the impactor is activated
with a constant energy (by an electromagnetic field, in
contrast with custom probe which is activated by spring).
Therefore the impact device is small and as fast as three
test per second and you can work with one hand.
The tester is a ‘plug and play’ device. it means it eliminates
probe-to-system reconfiguration. For example ,if a user
requires another probe for a specific measuring application,
he simply plugs in an optional koopa probe and the tester
automatically identifies the device.
The materials can be tested in five directions ideal for use
on internal surfaces of castings, fabricated assemblies and
on large cumbersome samples.
The external impact device has a tungsten carbide tip and is
designed to handle most hardness requirements.
For users requiring documentation and data storage in personal
computers, the parallel port of the tester could be directly
connected to text printers (Epson, HP, …) or via an included
cable and software to parallel port of computer.
